"This Thai restaurant is a gem of a one in Hayling island. We ordered some soups, calamari spring rolls to start with. The soups were flavourful had the right spice note. The calamari was fried seasoned perfectly. For the mains we ordered, Pad Thai, egg fried rice, green curry some chicken stir fry. The mains tasted fantastic the presentation of the food was very good. They took enough care detailing on how the food was presented. For example, my starter had a vegetable cut presented like a rose flower. Overall very good experience would definitely recommend this place for anyone who has an appetite for a good Thai food."

"What an amazing meal had by all of 4 of us at this restaurant last night. The food is absolutely delicious, the ambience is perfect and the Staff couldn't do any more for us. It's like they're cooking for their own family. They are also very accommodating in any food requirements. Definitely will be returning. I recommend this restaurant 200%. I give Mia and her team 5/5*. If I could score them more, I would. Thank you to all of the Staff. "I found that little gem on Google maps by accident to be honest and noticed the 4.9 rating which made me very curious. As I love all Asian cuisine I didn't even hesitate to give it a try. When I called to ask many questions I spoke to a very nice lady who didn't rush me at all. She informed me (what is very important for newcomers to know that they have slots for collection, my understanding was that they do not just take walk-ins (certainly not on busy nights like Friday and Saturday so make sure you call beforehand and book the slot. I absolutely loved Pad Thai, I'm pretty sure it was the best I've eaten! Massaman curry was great too Unfortunately I wasn't that big on red curry in terms of flavour (don't mean the fact it was extremely spicy as I did request it willingly . I'm gonna try green curry next time but I'm sure at least 1 Pad Thai will always be on my order. There's a good parking lot behind the building which is free if charge after 6pm (exactly the time when they open . We'll be coming back regularly as flavours are great, prices are very reasonable and on top of it customer service is brilliant"

"Ordered online. I’m veggie but can’t eat tofu. I ordered the veg curry that didn’t have tofu. We had to pick it up as no delivery which was fine. When we opened it, it contained tofu despite not listing that on the menu. When phoning them she said ‘Yes I put tofu in my veg curries’ didn’t seem to have a clue that it wasn’t listed online. If I had eaten any of that I would have been ill. She really didn’t seem that bothered. Said she’d make another one with tofu but I’d have to pick it up. When mentioning trading standards her attitude slightly changed!! So family night spoilt as everyone else was eating while I had to make beans on toast…. Not impressed. If you have an allergy or don’t like something don’t trust their online menu"

"The food at the restaurant was delicious, but I was not a fan of the practice of immediately placing a large quantity of poppadoms in front of us without asking. They charged us for the poppadoms, even though we didn't request so many. In the future, it is best to clarify if you want poppadoms and how many you would like upon being seated, as the cost can add up quickly. Despite this issue, the food was still excellent."

"Mama Jinny Thai Kitchen is Thai comfort food at its finest. Eating here was definitely one of the best decisions we made while we were in Margate. The place was clean and well-lit. The decor transported us to Thailand. : It 's about five minutes walk from Margate Main Sands. The staff were friendly and attentive. They also reminded me of family-owned restaurants back at home where you can just feel so comfortable. The food was just absolutely wonderful. They did not skimp on the ingredients. Our Tom Yum seafood soup was full of yummy seafood and mushrooms. The Pork Pad Khing was also very tasty and the vegetables were cooked perfectly and not soggy at all. We also had mango with sticky rice for dessert. Now this dessert is a definite must-try in any Thai restaurant, especially at Mama Jinny. It was just so delectable. It was not overly sweet. Just the perfect way to end the meal. The only thing I was disappointed about was that I got too full too soon... I wanted to eat more and to try their other dishes. The price is reasonable for the quality of the food. This is now in our 'Must Eat Here list ' when in Margate"

"I placed an order at this restaurant 3 months ago and found the chicken curry to be excessively salty. Tonight, after calling to speak with the owner, we were offered a complimentary chicken curry. The person who took our order mentioned that they had received 5 complaints that evening about salty chicken curry. The chicken curry was satisfactory this time, but the chicken balls were salty and the chips seemed reheated. The special fried rice was fluffy, but the taste was off. I would recommend avoiding this place at all costs."

Yet another missing item and when calling we were told it was are fault for not checking and do you want to speak to someone who speaks less English if you dont understand. "I unfortunately had a negative experience at this restaurant as they were dishonest with their bills. During my last visit with a larger group, they included drinks and food that we did not order on the bill (which they removed after we complained), and the total amount was incorrect. Upon reviewing the bill at home, I noticed that the invoice amount was higher than the items listed. This left a bad taste in my mouth, and I am hesitant to return or recommend this restaurant to others. It's a shame because I really enjoyed the food. The dishes, including red, green, and panang curry, were absolutely delicious and some of the best Thai curries I've had in London. The flavors were authentic and aromatic. The service was also very good, with a helpful and polite server. Prices are reasonable and affordable. Despite the billing issues, I would consider returning for more of their delicious food."

"I was presented with a note with our latest takeaway informing me that they are no longer going to be taking orders from Just Eat and have moved to a different, lesser known takeaway platform, with a price increase to go with it. Instead of offering free prawn crackers with orders of £15 they have now upped it to £20 minimum, which for a couple is unrealistic as we wouldn't spend that much on a chinese takeaway for two people. Just greedy and unnecessary behaviour when you think how cheap a bag of prawn crackers is. Sigh. Looks like we're going to have to try and find a new chinese takeaway."

"This is the best Thai restaurant I've ever visited in North Iceland! I was captivated by the menu and found it hard to decide because there are so many options. The prices are very reasonable, especially given the incredible flavors. As a keen Thai restaurant enthusiast, I can confidently say this place ranks in the top five in the country. Plus, I didn't even have to wait 15 minutes for my two orders!"
