"Loved their vision to support women winemakers and their focus on natural wine, the cosiness of the restaurant and the French food, but we felt pushed throughout the dinner to order, consume, pay and go. From the very beginning, we were reminded that we could only stay for one hour and a half, despite there being empty tables at all times. As soon as I finished my wine they removed my glass, although my partner still had wine. Likewise with any empty plate. I'd recommend that they focus more on making sure that their customers have a good time and are at ease rather than on table rotation. The nibbles we had with the wine were nice. We had the tartiflette, the jambon blanc and the bread selection with Normand crystal salt butter. Good pairing to the carafe of Beaujolais that we ordered. Value for money is a bit on the expensive side for a casual bar of this kind, mainly due to the wine. Most wine by the glass is over £10, which removes the fun factor of being able trying different varieties without overthinking it too much."
