"I typically do not write reviews, but I feel compelled to share my experience this time because of the exceptionally rude service I encountered. Upon entering the restaurant, a woman approached me and stared without uttering a word. I informed her that we were looking for a table for two, to which she turned away without a response and walked off. When I attempted to find a table myself, she abruptly shouted at me to wait and not to seat myself. I was taken aback by this lack of common courtesy and basic manners. I was unaware that Pizza Express required reservations made a month in advance, especially considering how empty the restaurant was. Despite this, we were seated in a row where my chair was constantly bumped as others passed by, even though there were clearly better seating options available. I was tempted to leave immediately, but my daughter was hungry, so we decided to stay. This was the first time I have ever encountered such disrespectful behavior; it felt as though the staff had forgotten that customers should be treated with a minimum level of respect. As for the pizza itself, it was average and nothing exceptional. My daughter can make a better one at home."
