"it was a long day for us when we traveled from angles to the end of the Llyn Peninsula and eating early bites was exactly what we needed before the trip back to our caravan in rhosneigr. we chose italian and I called for a reservation as soon as we saw that osteria the highest rated italian in caernarfon. we have booked for 6 o'clock without problems, although it is the bank holiday sunday. it was a bit of an attempt to find the restaurant located in a pedestrian zone, very close to the burg, but with the help of Google cards and a good sense when we made it just before 18 clock. we sat outside for a few minutes before the waiter (operator? noticed us and welcomed us in. we had the choice when ant table for two, top or bottom, and we chose top which is light and airy. the waiter needed time to explain the menu and came to order our order after a few minutes. the wine list is extensive and there was peroni available, much to my man joy. there was a list of about 10 bruschetta and we decided on a sharing plate of three different, each for £10. a perfect starter. then we both ordered from him. I asked for lasagne, which was creamy and perfectly spiced. my man ordered the pasta with a creamy pfeffer sauce and courgettes. he was very happy with this simple pasta dish and then we chose panacotta, a fruit-covered Custard tea and an almond-covered chocolate cake with cream. all served with attention and humor. many thanks to our waiter who made the evening most pleasant. when we left at 7.30 a.m., there were still a few tables that were available despite this a busy weekend, so if they didn't book, I'm sure there would be space if they crossed their fingers."
