"Visited this restaurant in November two years ago, when we had a delicious carvery, and were looking forward to another great meal. It was encouraging to see several gluten free options among the menu's main courses and desserts. However I chose the two courses for £10.95, starting with the soup and GF roll, followed by the homemade GF pie with an additional side dish of vegetables. The portion of soup was large, tasty and very hot and took some time to get through. The pie that followed was again extremely hot, and the contents in a salty, watery gravy not thick enough to hold the pie together. The vegetables were generous but too crunchy and could have done with more cooking. Overall, it was a bit disappointing after the previous meal here, when they had excelled themselves."
