"We had a fantastic dinner here on Saturday the prawn starter was incredible as was the carbonara. One of the best Italian restaurants I have ever been to. The kind waiter was amazing giving us the choice of what kind of pasta we wanted. The chocolate cake was really good and everything was so well priced. I am planning on going back next week."

"I took my mother to the Two Sisters restaurant for her birthday last Sunday. We were immediately greeted and informed about the brunch options (i.e. buffet versus brunch specials and other adjustments, such as turkey bacon instead of pork). I think this is a great place for a relaxed brunch and definitely for a mother-daughter date. We loved the food and the service. We drove to a Groupon and will definitely drive again without the Groupon. Worth it."

"I've been coming to La Porchetta for more than three years by now and last visit was simply the worst! We ordered pizza which had garlic on the menu, but when I finally got it, there was no smell or taste of it. I gave it back to the kitchen asking to add garlic to it. 5 minutes later I received same pizza with no taste or smell of garlic, but pizza was fully covered in oil! It looked like an oil lake in a plate. When I gave it back to a manager, he was angry and instead of trying to sort out this situation he started gossiping with staff showing on our table! afterwards he demonstratively printed the bill and put in on a counter constantly looking on us waiting when we'll leave! "I was recently invited to a party in Notting Hill. There was a miscommunication, and I was there 2 hours early. I needed to kill some time, and my tummy was rumbling. So I ducked into De Amicis, thinking it looked nice I should add that this was a Saturday night. I got into the restaurant early, and it was fairly empty one family eating an early dinner. I ordered a Margherita, and by the time it came, the place was starting to fill up a bit. "Authentic Italian in downtown Glasgow. They took our party quickly on a busy night without a reservation. The service was attentive through a group effort. The food was delicious and truly authentic. The minestrone soup was perfect. Fresh vegetables, served hot, with just the right amount of salt. The slices of haggis and black pudding was surprisingly tasty for my first time. Don’t ask what it is made of, just try it and you will find an unusual, but pleasant flavor and texture. The medallion of veal fillet alla Milanese was a tender, hearty portion of veal pounded thin, coated in light breading, and served hot. Delicious from the first bite to the last. The table next to me ordered the lyonnaise potatoes and they looked so good I had to order them as well. They were superb and tasted as good as they looked. Welcoming, charming place with more than reasonable pricing especially on the alcohol. Must visit if you like Italian."

"We got the Family deal tonight .. and it was unreal .. My husband walked over and collected it and had a sneaky pint while he waited . He said the service was great , so friendly and welcoming . We got 2xpizzas a garlic bread pizza garlics (really tasty .. a beautiful salad and chicken goujons 2xchips and a big bottle of Fanta, like that wasn’t enough there was also 2 x tiramisu’s included which tasted amazing and 100% authentic Italian.. My husband said the staff was great from the lady who greeted him at door to the guy that served him his pint was just fantastic.. We will be sitting in next time well done spaghetti junction"

"Food with real good flavours and not too salty at all. Tiramisu and Banoffee Cake were the lighter kind of recipes which were nothing sickly sweet and yet generous satisfying portions. Complimentary Limoncello served in the end was a nice touch. Not crowded on a weekday evening, so best as a quieter cozy place for catching up with friends. Con: plenty of pasta/pizzas options but lacking meat/chicken/fish dishes."
