"I booked this venue in January for July. They said they could provid cattering for gluten free and vegetarian guests, and the deposit would be £750, £250 being for food and the rest refundable if minimum spend was reached. 2 weeks before the party, I sent 5 messages and emails over 6 days trying to confirm catering for dietary restrictions, which received no reply. After having to contact Tagvenue for help, Fountain Tap finally responded 9 days before the event informing me they could no longer provide the booked catering but suggested I order pizza or arrange ny own catering. There were no affordable catering options on 9 days notice, which was why I booked the venue 7 months in advance. I had to find an entirely new venue, which luckily I did thanks to Tagvenue, who also assisted in helping me recover the deposit the Fountain Tap failed to return in a timely manner.
