"The staff is friendly, but the service is a bit slow; we had to wait at least 10 minutes just to receive the menu, and the food took a while to arrive as well. It's understandable given the limited staff and how busy it was. Unfortunately, I probably wouldn’t recommend this place or return myself. It's a shame because it has great potential, as the sea view is beautiful, but the menu is quite limited—mostly just burgers. Food: 2 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3 "

"We both visit this establishment most Wednesdays lunchtime, And almost always have the same meal The food is prepared and cooked to perfection And the staff are friendly and accommodating It’s great to see on the wall the progress made in raising money for the Rainbow centre. Plus you also have the option when paying of donating a meal for someone else. We really do love this place."

"The seafood was excellent, and the service was friendly. It was quite busy on Friday night, but we only had to wait about 10 minutes for a table for two around 7 PM. Unfortunately, they had run out of the jerk dish at that time. We ordered the Shack's Crab Stack plate for £55, which was more than enough for the two of us. The seafood was perfectly cooked and absolutely delicious. The only downside was one dish that didn't impress us as much, but overall, we really enjoyed our meal. The rum cocktails were also fantastic. They have a happy hour from 12 PM to 6 PM with two drinks for £12, and from 6 PM to 9 PM with two drinks for £15."

"Decided to try The Slamwich Club after hearing good reviews from friends and families who had been and liking the look of the Festive Menu. Absolutely blown away by the quality of the food, the friendly and attentive staff and the set up of the restaurant. We had the Brisket and Stout and Spice Up Ya Christmas with a side of Ho Ho Ho Hogs. We split the sandwiches half and half and loved both but the Spice Up Ya Christmas Sandwich we both agreed was something special! The gravy was incredible too. A welcome suprise was the value! Considering we had beers, two mains, a side and a coffee afterwards it was cheaper than getting a couple of cocktails each at the venue we went to afterwards! Will definitely return, and will definitely be recommending to all our Friends and Family."

"After hearing such good reviews about this place we thought we’d try it out. We ordered 5 small plates and one main between 4 us. I can’t fault the portion sizes, it’s just a shame about the food quality and the service 3/5 small plates came and then 20 minutes later we had not received the other two small plates plus the main when they finally came after chasing two separate members of staff) the chicken on the main was cold, the garlic bread was burnt and the hummus looked like it was sat open in the fridges for ages couple of days. It was busy and I understand staff were busy but a decent service would have been nice, the staff looked depressed and no smiles what’s so ever, one lady behind the bar stood giving my friend and I such dirty looks while we stood waiting to order. We did get a refund on the main £15) but for a lunch that cost over £100 I was expecting something amazing. Definitely will not be returning."

"Harrods is a dream for every window shopper. With thousand-dollar furniture, a plethora of designer brands, and stunning store decor, it is truly a sight to behold."

"The burgers and fries were very good, but given the fierce competition from places like Honest Burgers and Byron, I think the prices are a bit excessive. The cheapest option for a burger, fries, and a drink is around £20, and once you add a starter or dessert, it's easy to rack up a bill of £30 or more per person (there's an automatic 12.5% service charge added to the bill). They might try to justify the prices with details like cloth napkins and fancy decor in the restrooms, but the food is still served on a paper tray, and it's meant to be eaten by hand—not exactly gourmet dining. I expected the experience to be much more polished than what you’d find at their original setup of serving food from a van at festivals, etc."

"We all know yo sushi. I used to be a regular there and have frequented the selfridges branch 100s of times over the last 20 yrs. Yesterday will be the last time i will spend money in one of there establishments. Yes the sushi is not as good as a Japanese fish market, and you never fell you've had value for money but the menu is well rounded and its convenient so we thought we'd grab a quick snack. The restaurant was busy and the atmosphere was good. We were pointed to a table and when the server came over to ask if we had been in since belt service had resumed we explained we hadn't. He explained that we must pay for belt service and menu products separately? while we looked through the menu we picked a few dishes from the belt, there is now no wasabi on the table? so i left the table found a waiter and asked him to bring over the condiments. when he arrived i ordered a few pieces from the menu. the waiter then placed a card machine in front of me signaling for me to pay via card before recieveing the the food. I didn't like that, they never used to charge before you ate. Was this something they have put in place to stop people from running off? because they have no staff to serve correctly? i felt like a order number not a client about to spend £60-£80 on a snack. You can't charge extra for positioning and dining experience then provide no service. I then went to pay for the order in cash. I was looked at like a problem. The waiter explain it was yo sushi policy not to accept cash. This was not made clear to me before i sat down and there were no signs available at a glance. Im not a problem I'm a customer that has took hundreds of friends and clients for a quick fun lunch over the past 20 yrs. Take my money or comp the 3 small plates we had started. This is where the manageress was called. A nice lady who has worked there for many years. i tried explaining that i wish to pay cash and that i had no other payment method available. It was a very difficult conversation with no understanding compassion or customer service. She explained that i can't order anymore food and must finish my meal. I presumed this meant that the 3 small plates i had eaten were complementary? NO she then took payment in cash for the food on the table. Simply in shock we left. I hope the chain suffers for there poor decisions with there policies. Put customers before profits and the customers will come. Treat us like a contactless payment and we won't"

"What an incredible restaurant that delivers on its Instagram promise and more! We were so happy we made a reservation. The soft bao buns had fantastic filling combinations, and the katsu tofu and wagyu bark special on Wednesday were absolutely delicious. We enjoyed yuzu cocktails and a miso caramel dessert, all complemented by the super friendly and attentive service. I'm grateful that Bao Bar is such a great find for us! The communal tables may be a bit cramped with a maximum of eight people, but the interior is warm and inviting. I don’t usually write many reviews, but I felt compelled to share this gem!"
