"We were given a very warm welcome in the bar. Relaxed atmosphere in the dining area and excellent food. The Moroccan lamb sizzlers were outstanding . Plenty of choice left for another visit! The staff were all attentive and friendly and although quite busy we didn’t feel rushed. We’ve been several times and this time was just as good as all the others. Definitely recommend it!"

"Had a lovely evening at the City Restaurant. Menu options are great, my partner and I both tried meats we'd not had before which the chef cooked to perfection. And the staff made us feel genuinely really welcome. Complimentary starter and digestive and discount for next visit. Oh and they chased us down the road to give me back my purse which I had forgotten!! 10/10 customer service! Will definitely be back. Thank you for the lovely meal!"

"Good dinner. Dishes are friendly Priced and made by themselves. We had a small nachos with chili to start. The pies are said to be wonderful here. And they are. We had a beef steak pie with fries and vegetables. And a baked potato with sour cream, guacamole and chili. They forgot to add the guacamole and sour cream. But after asking they apologized and we got a generous portion. They have local draft beer. And bottles. The food was good. We enjoyed every bite. Left with a full stomach. After 7 pm this Friday they also had live music. Which sounded great."
