"I went with a group of friends to celebrate a special occasion (what we told the restaurant). We were placed outside while another big group was inside, and we found the service completely inadequate. We all ordered drinks (including three of the same thing) that the waitress went to one with up to ten or fifteen minutes between. At one point it literally took 35 minutes between ordering and receiving a dietary coke. We got water, but no glasses and finally restored to get things like salt and pepper from ourselves. Most of us enjoyed the food, but two people had (pritty standard) diet requirements and they were delivered only with things from the menu, minus what they could not eat at the normal price. They were both hungry when we were gone. In the end we complained and were offered a 10% discount. When we got the bill, we found that they just deducted the service fee and then total £7.50 were deducted from the actual bill (maybe less than ten percent)! Given that the manager came out and was really apologetic, that actually felt a bit insulting more than anything. I had friends who traveled from outside London for what should be a really nice special opportunity and food here meant that the day went out to a really frustrating start!"
