"The food was great, but considering the price and service level, I don’t feel it was a good overall experience. The pub is lovely, well decorated and the tables haven’t been set too close to each other. Unfortunately though, it took us a long time to place our drinks order and the bartender seemed inexperienced and it took a great deal of time for our drinks to be ready (coke and pimms, nothing complex turned out the pimms was just pimms and lemonade). The food came relatively quickly and was well presented and tasty. After finishing our meal it took around 30 minutes for our plates to be cleared at which point we decided to pay and take our chances elsewhere for a dessert. The bill then took another 30 minutes. All in all a great shame as the place has potential to be great. The chef is clearly well skilled but the bar staff weren’t. Must say though that the service at the table was very friendly."
