"We've been a few times over the past couple of months and have always been met with very friendly staff, clean and comfortable restaurant with a good selection of food. Food is very tasty, well cooked and well presented. Recently requested a specific vegetarian option on pre booking the table which was no problem. Our vegetarian guests was very impressed. Reasonable prices too. Would highly recommend."

"Great quality Italian Meal with very friendly staff and great value for money. Complimentary doughballs and olives to start followed by plentiful Monkfish and a delicious tortellini, washed down with half a carafe of white wine. Just to cap it off, the cheeseboard was amazing for £5.80, with 4 cheeses plentiful for 3 people let alone one and came with a complimentary glass of port. We have never had a cheeseboard for such a great value anywhere else. We will definitely return."

"I don't usually read previous reports before composing my thoughts on any place I have visited but I made an exception here and I have to say I'm dumfounded by the recent negative reviews of this restaurant.Personally, I found it amazing. Indeed, the fayre was top notch, as was the service. We were a group of and we had a fabulous time.Yes, it is pricey and not somewhere most people could afford to patronise every week but for a special occasion it is the bees knees. Will stay in the memory for a long time."

"We hardly ever have take away, because unfortunately, they are more often than not a let down. But not Ben's Chinese take away. What a delight and so pleased we gave them a try; definitely will get food from them again. Fresh, lots of crunchy...vegs, plenty of king prawns, no grease or watery sauce, all of what we ordered was just lush. Thank you."
