"Had a lovely evening at the City Restaurant. Menu options are great, my partner and I both tried meats we'd not had before which the chef cooked to perfection. And the staff made us feel genuinely really welcome. Complimentary starter and digestive and discount for next visit. Oh and they chased us down the road to give me back my purse which I had forgotten!! 10/10 customer service! Will definitely be back. Thank you for the lovely meal!"

They serve delicious Central European food and drinks that are perfect for the upcoming Autumn season. Don't let the simple appearance of the restaurant fool you, the cozy atmosphere and well-prepared country cuisine are truly delightful. The dishes are honest and flavorful, with a perfect balance of seasoning. I highly recommend trying the Zurek soup in a bread bowl, it's filling and absolutely fantastic.
