"Ordered via Deliveroo.... Firstly, the order was late (this is the second time now) The breaded mushrooms were over cooked and tasted like the oil used to cook them was old. The bottle of Pepsi was flat. The lamb was over cooked and so dry. The chips were overcooked and oily. The pizzas tasted strange, like the dough was not fresh before making. The Nuggets tasted like they'd also been cooked in old oil. Plus, it was all cold. Everything to be honest was very bad and was basically put straight in the bin. considering spent over £50 is not acceptable. As I said this is the second time I ordered from them and it was late, again but I thought I'd give them a chance, after this never again."

"We ordered take out for fish and chips on a Friday night. We waited 30 mins infront of the shop we signaled to the staff a few times that we were right in front of them to let us know when our food is ready....Not only did the food sit on the side while we waited and have to ask multiple times for our order, the staff was incredibly rude when I asked for extra tartar sauce. They insisted I pay 40p for one satchet and I told them I can only pay with card (not carrying cash, esp during the pandemic) they said there 's a £5 minimum and nothing else. Terrible service, long wait, rude staff. There 's plenty of other delicious fish and chip places on the same street."

"I ordered cod and chips. Cod? I have never seen a grey cod but that was what I got. It didn't taste of anything and there was no texture to it. I've eaten cod for the last 73 years and there is no way this was cod. Last time I will ever order from them and I will take great delight in trying to stop people from ordering. I will also he informing trading standards. Disgusting. There should be a choice of selecting 0 because that's what I would have chosen."

"I made a telephone order at 11.30am and waited an hour and 15 minutes. I called to chase where the food was and was told it's being cooked now. It ended up being cancelled due to our long wait and rude service. He said that he would never take orders from us again. Good job. I wont be ordering again. I'd rather buy a hen and wait for its eggs to hatch it would be quicker!"

"the presentation of eating is good. However, all three sirloin steaks we ordered were boiled over. the service was minimal with only one staff that took service and order. when pouring a bottle of red wine on our weinglas it was as fast as it filled with water and without showing us the bottle and trying it out. inside damentoilette just came out of the kubikal found a male personal cleaning and it scared me. this type of service at hilton was not expected."

I politely called up asking if there was something that could be done as reheated chips doesn’t taste the best and I certainly don’t want to eat hair. "we thought we would avoid the Saturday evening rush and order around 16:10, so we didn't have to wait forever until it comes. this was the first time we used 'best kebab' and will be the last. uber eats said it would be delivered 16:50-17:10... the seemed a bit overly for the £20 order (1 x kebab, 1 x burger, 1 x cheesy chips and 1 x mozerella sticks.) but it is what it is. it will be 17:10 and we will wait. it is until 17:30 and we are waiting. 17:35 And we clink, they say they have a problem with their rides, and there will be 10 minutes, no apologies, nothing. eating came around 17:45, no apologies, nothing. eating was in the average. my partner “Special” burger (bef mit donnerfleisch) had 4 pieces donner on a lukewarm but crispy burger. my kebab was also lukewarm and I had never had so chewy meat in my life. the chips that were in the box were divided into two layers, the lower half closest to the box was like a red musk (obvily at any place it was hot and simply shaped into one with the condensation) and the upper side were hard as nails and cold. Mozerella sticks needed to heat as they were fixed and the Cheesy chips were only lukewarm with a mass of cold, solid cheese up. if they can not provide a delivery grater to ensure that their warm food is delivered immediately (we live about 6 minutes away) then they do not offer any delivery. do not pack their food ready and leave it easy until someone appears to deliver it, otherwise they will their customers inedible sh!t. revolver with our usual choice of spire pizzas. can not recommend this enough, along with express kebab house, which are just around the corner of this “business”. I will never use “Best Kebab” again. do not make the same mistake."

"I went to this restaurant with some friends for a meal. The service was excellent and the food was fresh and delicious. The chicken breast, wings, and mini fillets were all meaty and of high quality. The peri peri sauce made the dishes even more flavorful than Nandos. The rice was fluffy and the fries were hot and crispy. The southern fried chicken wings were also tasty, better than KFC's and with a more generous portion of meat. The owner sources fresh meat from Birmingham regularly and only buys high-quality chicken. The homemade chicken fillet burgers were delicious, with a half-pound chicken breast used for each one. They also offer a massive nacho burger made with butterfly chicken breast. I highly recommend the food at this restaurant and would definitely return."

"despite putting in the correct address, the order I made was very late. I called the restaurant and the guy who answered phone a man, who I could hear in the background. he eventually got back to me and assured me that the order would arrive in one minute (that is word for word what he said). I waited for a while and eventually a woman called me asking for directions and I had to guide her to my doorstep as if she had never been to Basingstoke before. The food arrived cold and inedible."

"Come here on a regular basis. They've started doing salt and pepper options and also German donner as well, the salt and pepper dishes are amazing and I feel like they will be quite successful in the salt and pepper game, not so often I come across a takeaway looking to go the extra mile and mama Mia is amazing and always goes the extra mile, will always come here even if for something small, the prices are cheap even with us all in a cost of living crisis.
