When I alerted the Mealzo app customer service I was told Tandoori Nites were refusing to deliver as they don't deliver to my area. "Visited on New Year’s Eve as a last minute change of plan, although it was a little busy we did wait a long time for them to take our order. Waited over half an hour to even be acknowledged and had to ask for them to take a drinks order and get a menu. Not the best service! No ice in the drinks, my beer seemed a little flat. As I said they were a little busy so just left it at that, starters arrived which were to their usual decent standard. When the mains came 1 of the party ordered a sizzler which I’m afraid to say was not sizzling, all the rest was ok. This is not my first visit to this restaurant and it’s just little things that keep just letting it down from being a good place in my opinion. The service and issues will not stop me from going again I will give them another go as the owners are really pleasant."

"This takeaway doesn't deserve even a star. We waited an hour and a half for the food, and when I phoned them the first time chasing my food they said it was with the driver and on its way. I phoned them 15 minutes later as the food still hadn't arrived and they are only 2 miles down the road. They said they would call me back and when I asked them to confirm my telephone number they hung up. I tried several times later to ring them with no answer. Luckily we ordered through Deliveroo so should get a refund. What makes it worse is we are on holiday in Swansea, and this is our first night here so we have not had a great experience so far."

"We have had some lovely take away meals from here in the past. But the last two have been quite disappointing. Even though I don't live far from the restaurant and it is delivered very quick the food has been cold recently. We tried the lamb tikka starter for the first time, which was cold and it was really tough like it had not been freshly cooked, we ended up leaving it. The chicken tikka was lovely but also cold and the salad that comes with the starters wasn't fresh. The mains where lovely but again needed warming up and not very big portion sizes at all. Overall I think we will be trying other local Indian restaurants in hope to find a consistent one!"

"Marion I had a wonderful valentine’s meal on our first visit to The Yellow Broom at Twemlow Green. Just loved the continental decor team who were friendly professional. The menu was tasteful inviting. We felt the restaurant had been lovingly created in a way felt like someone’s proudly presented home, albeit on a large scale. We felt comfortable that was a big plus for anyone thinking the Yellow Broom is a bit ‘high brow’. The food was really great lovingly presented. I started with haggis Bon Bons Marion the pate with sourdough. We both had ribeye peppercorn sauce as a main the sauce was to die for. All of it was wonderful so tasty. The wine we chose was a King Rabbit Chardonnay that too was excellent. A 5 star almost but my ribeye was just a little too poor a cut for the price, whereas Marion’s was super duper, just the luck of the draw I suppose. We shall definitely be back for more spoiling."

Location is easy to find has soon has you enter hersall lane its the 1st left just after the bathroom company and 200 yds on your right by the 1 junction food is good the takeaway building could do with a revamp otherwise I recommend this late night balti shop."

To make things worse, I actually saw the delivery driver pinching chips behind the bar with his bare hands. Completely unhygienic. When I was handed my mixed donner kebab, it wasn’t even properly wrapped just flimsily thrown together like an afterthought. "Orders through just eat and the deliver time was an hour and ten minutes. After this time the app updated to say the food had been delivered but nothing had arrived. I rang direct and was told that the order had been lost in the kitchen and hadn't even been processed. Promised it would be delivered within half an hour. I rang again 45 minutes later and was told it was on the way. Order didn't arrive until a further 25 minutes later. Driver was apologetic and said a driver had broken down. Might have been believable if it hadn't been for the initial mistake with the order and the 2 hour delay. He offered half price next time but I assured him there wouldn't be a next time after such poor service. Sat down to cold food at 9pm after placing the order at 6.19pm. Just awful. Avoid at all costs."
