Underground and unpreposessing food is good and atmosphere friendly, efficient and pleasant service, great pre-theatre /fixed menu leans to French but has a broad appeal. Inspired a new New year's resolution: to remember to visit more often!"

"First Indian restaurant we tried in UK based on mixed reviews but it was not at all Indian taste. All veg curries are nothing but boiled potatoes. Paneer tikka masala was deep fried paneer pieces dipped into tomato sauce. Only thing I found which was like India was roti. Not sure about non veg items but this place is not good for Indian vegetarians for sure."

"Went with my family to eat at this restaurant. The food looked authentic and more importantly tasted authentic and the attention to detail was what stood out from other places. The staff was superb and helpful with helping us pick our dishes. The manager was really friendly and interested. He gave us a wonderful night out. Definitely worth the one hour trip to get there and we plan on visiting again. The service was excellent and I commend the workers there. It's definitely one that I recommended and I look forward to my return there."
