"The food and service was outstanding at the Leven Hotel, unfortunately it was greatly let down by people visiting the bar and been allowed to walk through the dining room without any masks on during Covid, the staff and duty manager didn't address or stop anyone entering the bar, we were asked to use the track and trace on entry but not the people using the bar, the duty manager just shrugged his shoulders, there were other diners complaining about the same issue. There must have been at least twenty people walking to and from the bar through a busy dining area without a mask on. To say we were very dissatisfied and disappointed is an understatement, the reason we were there was to find a venue for our upcoming wedding, the reviews on their website and trust pilot were really encouraging, however I would not even return to have another meal or drink let alone book our wedding there when a simple request like ensuring masks are worn during a pandemic are not adhered to. Shame on you Leven Hotel Stokesley, no wonder the pandemic isn't going away when you ignore the government guidelines and you would be the first to moan if you had to Close due to High Covid Levels going into a lock down, I will not be recommending your Hotel to anyone in fact I would advise people to stay away and give you a wide berth."
