"We have eaten at A Torre half-a-dozen times in the last couple of months and, in fairness, we have had some really nice meals there. However, last night's will be the last time. My wife is medically allergic to coriander leaf. We have warned them on previous occasions and they have had to replace dishes in the past when served to her with it. Last night was the final straw. We warned them twice that evening. When my wife's linguine with sea food (on the specials menu) arrived, we queried the green herb on top and were told that it was parsley. 30 seconds later, they rushed out of the kitchen and snatched the plate away because it was coriander leaf. My daughter and I had finished our meal before my wife's replacement dish arrived. There is even an issue with the steaks. My daughter and I always order them medium-rare. Two visits ago, my steak was well done. The previous visit, it was between blue and rare. Last night, my daughter's was the same. I spoke to George, the owner, and sadly we won't be going back."
