"Such a lovely setting but we were shocked by the standard of the food. Stopped for a drink and snack over £15 for nachos, which was a sad plate of Doritos with microwaved cheese and dips reminiscent of a kids birthday party. Terrace looked amazing in the sun but there were piles of plates and glasses on every table, clearly hadn’t been cleared in hours and as a result there were wasps everywhere. "This was a special occasion for us and the location and ambience was really good. After tea and biscuits we had the full afternoon tea service which was really pleasant and service was good. A good touch was a free extra with a Happy birthday plate containing a further small cake and strawberries. A memorable occasion which we would repeat at a future time and really recommend. A slight improvement would be to give good instructions for finding the exact restaurant location within Latimer House from the car park."
