"Having visited this take away whilst on business, I ordered a large pizza, was charged £11.95 plus 45p to pay with card. Whilst waiting outside for the pizza to be made, I noticed the advertised price for any large pizza was £7.99. I returned to...the cashier to ask why I was charged more than the advertised price. The manager was called to explain'. His response was, we advertise a price of £7.99 but if you do not ask for that price, we charge you £11.95. Quite astonished and expecting some form of apology along with a refund for the difference, I was met with an argumentative manager' who simply asserted it was my fault for not asking for the advertised price! I demanded a refund and sadly had to find an alternative take away (which turned out to provide a better service, product amd price). Very disappointing indeed!"

"I made a reservation two months in advance, but when we arrived on time, they told us they couldn’t find our booking. Instead, they allowed a party of six without a reservation to enter. Even after I showed them my confirmation email, they informed us there was no space available. Just when we were about to leave, they somehow managed to find some emergency chairs and seated us right in the middle of the restaurant, despite many empty booths and tables scattered around that remained unoccupied throughout the entire hour we were there. Overall, it was a terrible experience from start to finish. I won’t be returning and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone."

"2nd visit here and was a spur of the moment meal. Staff really on the ball to get menu and drinks sorted. Nice poppadoms and pickles tray to start, then a Dhansak which was sweer rather than hot and sour, still really good. Washed down with a pint of bicycle club IPA, first for me and very drinkable. All that for a touch under £22. Bargain. Will be back next time I'm working in the area. Service: Dine in"

"I went to this restaurant when my in laws were in town that is their go to place for dining experience in Edinburgh. I was not disappointed. It was a lovely decor and absolutely delicious food They ordered some appetisers and I had a bite of each, which were good. Then we ordered the mains and everyone was delighted. I can only recommend the cannelloni with spinach and ricotta, so delicious The one thing I would say is that we felt a bit pressured to order more drinks or to order appetisers, which I didn't like. "The dining experience was very good, with a pleasant atmosphere. However, it is a bit pricey, and I noticed that many young patrons were not wearing masks, which is disappointing as it shows a lack of consideration for safety. I would recommend that management take this into account, as COVID is still a concern for many people and may be for some time. There are those who are still careful for themselves and their families."

"Cozy space, friendly servers and nice service, but food was terrible. My fiance and I shared a barbecue chicken pizza and a calzone — the calzone was okay but rather unremarkable (especially for the price), but the pizza was just awful: far too salty, barely any trace of proper barbecue, and without any exaggeration at all the chicken bits tasted of fish instead of actual chicken. Did not want to cause any fuss so I didn 't bother speaking to a manager after being offered the option after giving feedback — this is the first and last time I 'll be dining here."

"I have visited this restaurant before and they always seem to be out of sea bass, but this time they had it available, which was great! I really enjoyed the tapas options, which I shared with friends for our meal. While they do have main course options, they are limited for someone like me who doesn't eat meat, but this is not a big issue for me. I will definitely come back. I appreciate that it is a cozy and local spot. My only wish is that they accepted Amex as a form of payment."

"had a cocktail masterclass at a hot weekend and even though the future drinks get only 4/5 stars the two employees sold us all the experience. they made it entertaining and we all had so much fun, the cocktails they have to make are delicious and the criminal records were questionable, but created laugh. go to connor and curly sue. a job that is well done for all of us. the snack tablets provided by the class were also really delicious."

"I found this restaurant to be unexpectedly pleasant! The pizzas were very large for the price paid, especially when compared to chains like Dominos and Pizza Hut. It can be difficult to find unique vegetarian pizza options, so I was pleasantly surprised to see some different choices on the menu. We were truly satisfied with our meal, the pizzas were delicious and generous in size. Despite having a large appetite, we still had leftovers at the end of our meal. We will definitely be ordering from here again!"

"What a fantastic place! First of all, if you march in, the smell of burgers immediately strikes your nose, immediately make you hungry. My partner and I took our seats and checked the menu, there were only 6/7 things on the menu (without pages). You know what they say: the less on the menu, the more fresh the food. I ordered the 'Honest Burger' and I was asked if medium was rarely in order as they prefer. I agreed and ordered her personal burger beer to fit, this beer was incredible and obviously was made a lot of effort to perfect it. My order came with sides of their spicy wings and their onion rings, they were ineffective. The wings were perfectly cooked and the onion rings were gigantic and well cooked. I came to the burger and started to eat, I practically inhaled the whole thing, what an amazing thing, the craftsmanship that needs to be done to create this burger was clearly top-notch, I did it a service through it so fast to eat, but I could not help. A few drinks, 2 burgers and 2 pages came to just under £50, so a bit more on the expensive side, but you get what you pay. Overall fantastic and worth a visit!"
