"We order from Saffron’s for delivery. We ordered our food at 19:15 and 2 hours and 2 phone calls later it finally arrived. I’m sorry to say it was not worth the wait, the food was bland and Luke warm. Very disappointing! The customer service was as bad as the food, when we called to ask where are food was, we got informed that they did not were the driver was or how long our food would be, not even an approximate time could be given. After a second phone call, at nearly 10pm it finally turned up. 70% of the food went in the bin. Even our dogs turned their noses up at it."

"Food in the Haweli is awesome, especially the Chicken Adda, and it shows they take their business seriously and try for the highest standard on all fronts, but I do wish their waiters would be less overly attentive and leave you to enjoy the company and food without interuptions. None the less this is the best curry in the borough bar none, successive rivals open and close opposite as people vote with their tastebuds, and I'm pleased to say its right on my doorstep. Great service if you drop in for a take away too."

"Brilliant experience and very authentic food the chef was complimented for his cooking and the home style taste. Would definitely visit again. If you want fresh hot food you may to wait a bit longer but I was happy to wait. Prices were value for money and with so much choice of restaurants in Manchester I would highly recommend this place. It was a full house on our visit so book in advance."

"I finally found an authentic Indian dining experience in Britain outside of London! The food reminded me of all the delicious meals I enjoyed in India, featuring favorites that are hard to find in Britain. The pani puri was beautifully made, the pav was fantastic, and the dhal makhani was dark, creamy, and spicy. The lamb flakes were perfectly spiced and tender. "The restaurant may not look impressive from the outside, but the food is really delicious with a nice home-cooked taste. The dishes were not too spicy, but they are willing to adjust the heat level upon request. The menu is limited and the seating area is a bit crowded. Despite this, every dish we tried was excellent, likely due to the focused menu. The portions were satisfying, although slightly smaller than other restaurants. The only disappointment was the poppadoms, but the dips served with them were tasty."
