"Placed an order this evening (29thFeb) for two vegan red curry boxes and a hot box for my daughter. After waiting over an hour (forgiven as it is a Saturday) our meals arrived. Straight away we noticed a drink was missing from the order. After tucking in to a good portion of my ‘vegan noodles’ I came across meat at the bottom of my box. This is not tofu meat.. my partner ordered tofu in his box and both were completely different in look and smell. We called up straight away and the guy who answered the phone did not seem to care one bit. He kept insisting it was tofu after me telling him numerous times that it 100% was not. He then asked me ‘what do you want me to do about it’. I asked for a full refund and he agreed as long as he could ‘take the food away with him’ this was frustrating as my daughters food was right and she was already half way through her food. Absolutely appalling customer service. Will never ever return. Not one apology.. even after calling twice. The team and the chefs need some serious dietary training as I’ve seen a few reviews on here that also mention having meat in their vegetarian boxes. If it had been handled better I would of been perfectly happy as I understand mistakes happen but the complete lack of respect I received over the phone is unforgivable."
