Upon entering, there was a noticeable lack of atmosphere in the foyer, with no cloakroom staff or concierge as there had been before. The staff were friendly and eager to please, and the food was good. However, we were informed that the Sunday brunch had been cancelled on occasion due to low bookings, and were advised to call ahead in the future to confirm availability. It was disappointing to see the staff working hard while facing a lack of returning customers. The price was not cheap (£45 for adults, £22.50 for kids) and the restaurant was missing its usual buzz and atmosphere."
