"Went to this pub after reading some of the recent reviews for Sunday lunch and we were so disappointed and disgusted by how we were served and what was served to us it is unreal! The food looked lovely but tasted awful! The vegetables were stone cold! My friend had the roast beef and it was so overcooked it was almost black and as tough as leather. The Yorkshire puddings were overcooked and just horrid. The roasties would have been nice had they been warm. The lamb was ok, mine was tough. It was just so cold! The gravy was vile... It had this horrible tomato taste to it. When the waitress asked if the food was ok, we said not really, it 's really cold, especially the vegetables ... Her response... Ok !! When we had eaten what we could bare we sat waiting for someone to clear the table, it didn 't happen. My fiance had to actually go to the bar to pay the bill!! Absolutely horrendous and we certainly won 't be visiting again!!"
