"I was surprised to see only six types of tea on offer; after having attended almost all afternoon teas in London, I expected at least ten selections. When our afternoon tea was served, we joked about getting free refills, but she clarified that there was an additional charge for extras. I was shocked, as I've never encountered that before.
Overall, this experience didn't feel worth the price, and there were no themed cakes as advertised. We received three sandwiches each, a tiny prawn cocktail in a shot glass, two scones each, and a small plate with four plain cakes that had no connection to the toyshop theme. This was the most disappointing afternoon tea we've ever experienced."
