"We have been using this restaurant since we moved to the area in 2019. The menu which has changed recently in my opinion is awful. They have taken away lots of the menu items, rearranged the menu in the weirdest headings but most of all the food quality has dropped massively. It’s time to find a new Chinese restaurant to deliver some better food with a more regular and standard menu. What a shame that it has gone so down hill."

"UPDATE!!! I want to update my review about this place, I went there today and get refund and chicken curry with egg fried rice. I think that really nice from the owners. I want to recommend this place to everyone, other day I get a chicken chow mein which was very nice and big portion also. Curry chicken with egg fried rice was also very good ! They are using fancy pachages as well. I will come back to this place every time! Be carefull about this place. I just was there to order a Chicken Curry and Egg fried rice. Woman on the till said to me that will be 10.90£ so i paid for it collect my order and went home. I saw a portion of curry and a quality of both of them I checked a prices. I suppose to pay 8.40£. They overcharge me 2.50£ be really careful and ask for receipt every time! Never come back there again"

"Came here for my wife's birthday this evening, we were seated upstairs and were looked after by Swizel Rodriguez, who was simply lovely to us all evening. She had decorated the table with some birthday ribbons and banners and gave it all a real personal touch, almost as if being welcomed into her own home. Elsewhere the service was very good, our food drinks came out in good time not too fast not too slow. We both had medium 12oz rib eye steak... The nicest flavoured steak I've had in a long time, I almost didn't want to put the peppercorn sauce on (but I love peppercorn sauce, so I did! . To finish we had desserts brought by the rest of the H.K team who sung happy birthday to my wife. An all round lovely evening at a place I can't fault. 10/10."

"I recently ordered a takeaway from this restaurant through JustEat, spending £70. This was only my second time ordering from them. While we enjoyed our meal the first time, this experience was disappointing. The food I received was incorrect, and when I complained through JustEat, I was given a poor excuse. I ordered 2 portions of satay chicken but received garlic chicken instead. The excuse was that they have their own recipes and cooking techniques, but it seemed like a flimsy excuse to me. The quality of the rest of the meal was also subpar. As a fully qualified chef myself, I believe it is important for businesses to own up to their mistakes and make them right. I will not be ordering from this place again and caution others to think twice before doing so."

"I was in the area getting vaccinated and decided to treat my family to a Chinese meal. After researching online, I ended up ordering four dishes: chicken fried rice, king prawn chow mein, crispy chilli shredded beef, and chicken satay skewers. The total cost was £23, which seemed a bit pricey, but I was willing to pay if the food was good. However, when I received the order and saw the portion sizes were small, I was a bit disappointed. The chow mein was made with chicken instead of prawns and had my noodles mixed in. I called the restaurant to have my order corrected and returned to pick it up. When we finally sat down to eat, the crispy chilli beef was soggy, the chow mein was bland, the prawns were overcooked, and the satay skewers were covered in a spicy sauce that didn't taste like satay at all. The rice seemed like it could have come from a packet. Overall, this was the worst Chinese food I have ever had. I recommend avoiding this restaurant at all costs."

"Absolutely awful, ordered last weekend (was waiting for my refund from just eat) minutes late, when we called up to ask, a lady answered the phone then a man took the phone and told us she didn't know what she was doing When the food arrived it was stone cold, I would say I am certain the food was heated in the microwave, it all went in the bin All soggy and damp The curry had a weird dark oil that had separated from the actual curry The food was spilt all over the box it came in, absolutely awful take away, very expensive and extremely poor quality, go somewhere else."

"Gone downhill, sadly. This is our third visit, the previous takeaways we’ve bought exceeded our expectations and were worth the extra distance from our home town. Yes, the crudely constructed covid floor to ceiling barriers together with airlock hatches for making payments and receiving food seem a bit disrespectful of their customers when the pandemic is officially over. Also if you are going to be paranoid in 2023 about covid, why do you accept cash only and are happy to touch it and count it? But that is their personal preference and if they provide a good service I will happily pass my (possibly infected) money through the hatch. Sadly the standard on this visit was a 2 star. Everyone has a bad day sometimes, the previous visits would be 5 star rated. The staff I saw weren’t the same this time so perhaps some key personnel were on holiday or the business has been sold on? If I see the lady from before behind the counter again I’ll give it another try, but on the basis of the last visit I couldn’t recommend it."

"First impressions are good. A cosy, well fitted out restaurant. However, every business needs to train its staff to be pleasant and accommodating to its paying customers just to survive, let alone prosper. I thought the food was OK but the staff didn't have a clue.Food Hygiene Rating was only 2 in May 2019 and has been this low for sometime. No effort apparently has been made to improve hygiene standards. This in itself is a good reason to avoid the place. Completely unacceptable."

I called the restaurant, and they insisted that my order was on its way, refusing to listen to my concerns. Fortunately, the correct order arrived shortly after, but the meal was quite disappointing. The food was bland, to say the least; the spare ribs were overcooked and tough, and everything else tasted as unappealing as it looked. I was really let down, especially since our usual Chinese takeout is far better."

"With a delivery time of we thought was already long. For the food to then turn up later than this I was really dissapointed and hungry. We have had this takeaway three times this year and every time food has been late once...it was an hour late meaning it took two hours from the time of ordering to receive our food. The food has also always been sub par. The ribs were nice today but so much smaller than previous years. The prawn toast was great and the only thing worth a good mention. The rest of the food was pretty bland. Chicken chow mein had no flavour at all and was very dry. The beef in black bean was boring in flavour and tasted nothing like black bean sauce. I used to love this place but not even an apology for being late and food has gone way down in my books. I am always willing to give second chances but for a third bad meal we will not be going back."
