"My friend and myself came here for afternoon tea as we had a voucher. The waitress very kindly moved us outside as it was a lovely day. We asked for no salmon as I was pregnant and my friend doesn't eat fish, the Waitress offered us to replace them with ham and cheese sandwiches. The salmon arrived on the sandwich platter anyway, it was taken back and changed but when it came back there were less sandwiches on the plate? A waiter took over the service and was not easy to locate for tea and coffee refills. Unfortunetly the scones were stale but still edible. Overall the experience was ok but I wouldn't come here again for afternoon tea or food. The bar area looks ok for a drink."

"I have visited the The Kings Old Kings Head several times now and the food is always delicious, the service is fantastic, such a friendly team. My hubby likes the selection of beer and gin. We brought some friends on our latest visit and they loved it too. They live in a city so really liked the cosy friendly atmosphere of a village pub. I would highly recommend a visit to The Old Kings Head."
