"This was our very first Michelin star restaurant experience. It was a day of memorable meal and great company – a fantastic affair The place is quite laid back. The service was outstanding Amazing bread selection too. The first batch was freshly out of the oven, and the smell of warm bread just does something to your mood, it’s like a dosage of instant happiness We had hare tagliatelle, bouillabaisse, grilled lamb, roast guinea fowl, sorbet, and tarte tatin. "Great night out. a few weeks ago in the queensbury for a light bite, but when I saw the sorts in the menu, I ended up with a course meal!/ so much choice for the starter, but at the end I chose the stylton souffle with black pfeffer haferkuchen. it was soouuo beautiful. / my main meal was wild mushroom, parmesan and black truffle risotto. risotto is hit and miss, but that was perfectly cooked.Dessert was frech, but soouu beautiful. I had a dark chocolate and ginger tea. / personal and loks are beautiful and they had harveys bristol cream. I will go back in the opposite way when I am back in the opposite way./ many thanks!"

"We first dined here years ago and had a memorable lunch. Everything was perfect from ambience to food. OK so it was expensive but we were made to feel special and the food was wonderful. Alas, most things have changed as we found out on this occasion. I booked online for lunch for in July for Saturday Sep. Gone is the set lunch and the efficient service. We were seated next to a group of ladies and a baby who were being very attentively served. After a considerable delay my starter arrived consisting of smoked mackerel pate and this came without toast or bread. As main course we both had halibut and this was served with an attempt at a crusty top which didn't work. Cooking the crust properly would have overcooked the fish so the compromise was a half cooked crust. The potato accompaniment was minuscule but there were no potato sides available so we had to order chips which were hardly suitable. One of the things which have not changed is the price. These offerings were not cheap. Our conclusion was that the new owners are charging fine dining prices for a bar lunch experience"

"this was a very disappointing round, eating was average nothing to say about our booking was 8.30 the service and keeping the staff was appalling when we got the main course at 9 o'clock we got to close the kitchen and we had to order now if we wanted to eat more of items from the table seasoned at that time on them etc. when we were still restaurants away teller before we were all finished I found the whole experience very unpleasant that we will never come back"
