"Busy restaurant and a disappointing start ending up at the worst table in the restaurant beside the hatch where all the dirty dishes are dumped. If booking I would suggest adding a note not to get this table for dinner. 2 steak meals were warm at best and despite being sent back only the plate came back with more heat. One other meal was good and enjoyable. Great server who was helpful and tried to negotiate an adjustment to the bill at the end of the meal which started off with an odd suggestion for a reduction to the overall cost but we got there in the end. No discussion with management, who didn't seem to want to deal with any difficult conversation, but the bill outcome and complimentary round of drinks helped with a disappointing visit. Staff serving tables were great and to be commended for taking on responsibility that would I would have suggested should have been handled by the duty manager."

"For me the highlight of my trip to Scotland. The Sunday roast with all the trimmings is a taste explosion! Unbelievable good. "visit in a month. Another lovely family meal.Again staff were very friendly pleasant. Son's would definitely recommend the highland beef burger, the pork with black pudding mash peppercorn sauce was really really nice.Thanks everyone for an enjoyable night"
