"The staff were lovely and nothing was too much trouble. This really is a local gem and I always recommend it to my guests who stay in my holiday cottages. The food is great and I could have chosen anything off the menu so will have to go back again just to try something else. We had friends who had been with us before and they were very happy to be there again one year on. Dogs are also welcome. You really must try this pub as it is the least pretentious of all the eating places in the locality and the food is always good."
