"The food here is wonderful. Well cooked food with great flavours. The ambience is perfect and the smell of amazing food hits you when you walk through the door. The service was brilliant. Very friendly but not overly so with very prompt service. I had the peri-peri wings to start and they are lovely. Good sized wings and just spicy enough. I had a king prawn main which was also delicious. My friend had the mutton curry which was incredible and I have since had as a take away from them. Huge chunks of tender meat with no gristle with a thick sauce. My new favourite food to order in and one of the best curries I have had. The rice and peas were cooked perfectly. The dumplings are amazing, they are so like donuts as to feel like a real treat! I would recommend Bishops and will definitely go again, and hopefully often."

"We visited this restaurant for the first time on 15/09/20 for a birthday celebration and I was thoroughly impressed. The background music, customized drinks, and exceptional customer service exceeded my expectations. I wish all restaurants would treat their customers the same way. The pricing was great and the food was delicious - we couldn't stop complimenting each dish as we ate. I would give this restaurant more stars if I could and I will definitely be returning with friends and family."

"Great Nigerian Restaurant. Are you after authentic food!? This is the place to go! I had the swallow with soup and fish, off the menu, ask the chef. The food tasted as if you were eating grandma's delicious Swallow. Don't let the look of the place fool you. Friendly staff."

"The food was very good, we enjoyed everything we ate. I had butterflied sea bass fillet which was beautifully cooked and presented and lightly seasoned. The muslin covered half lemon is a hint of a good chef and a nice touch. I really liked the parsnips which were sweet and almost candied, reminded me of the sweetness of plantain. My husband loved the sausage starter which he mentioned the following day. You won’t be disappointed coming here. The staff were very attentive and helpful. Very reasonably priced for London . Very accessible to theatre land for a pre theatre meal. Highly recommended."
