"After many years we were looking forward to visiting the Insel Mühle again. We had a great place on the terrace for dinner on a warm day. The staff was very friendly and engaging. We were a bit disappointed that the hotel was more well-kept in the past. There were cobwebs everywhere on the railing, the parasols and the wooden barn. The plants were partly withered. That's a shame, because these things create a much more pleasant ambience with little effort. About the food: The prices have increased significantly compared to before. My wife's first meal was too salty. Can happen. We also received a new portion immediately after the complaint. The chanterelle mushrooms were missing from my main course. My wife's beef tenderloin was gray inside, not pink. For EUR you can expect a different quality here. We were also annoyed about EUR cover per person on the bill. Why this? What sense does that make for the guest? I would strongly recommend deducting the price from the main course and / or starter. In total, we paid EUR for adults with one starter, one main course, only one dessert, red wine, non-alcoholic wheat beer, water and a drink for each children's meal. Unfortunately, the quality was not right for that. Pity"
