"My husband and I have been to The Painted Heron which is now called TPH not sure why the name was changed as the original is very nice many times. This time the menu was changed and it took us a while to decide what to order. The food is always delicious and we will go back. Our friends really enjoyed it."

"Was in town last night and needed a nice eat-in indian restaurant nearby so I looked up reviews and popped in here. Was very pleasantly surprised with the food, ambience and friendliness of this place. It was also very clean and tidy. Not overly expensive either. Would certainly go again. Parking: it was okay. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £40–50"

"We stayed in Colchester last year and eat at Chinatown, we were impressed by the superb food and the friendly service. We returned to Colchester for a concert and immediately decided that we had to try Chinatown again, we were not disappointed. We chose different items from the menu this time and still found the food to be high quality and very tasty. We are now hoping to have some reason to return to Colchester in the future as we'll definitely go again."
