"All the other times i have been to Ask, the service has been polite and friendly. Unfortunatly last night was a massive let down to the company. I phoned the resturant at in the evening and booked a table for people at o clock. We got to the resturant, on time and had to wait minutes before we were seated on the sofa's and told our table wasn't ready, which i found very dissapointing as we had pre-booked it. I also noticed that the table they were planning on seating us, was one that other people were on, so they must of been expecting the people to have finished, which isn't satisfactory as they had obviously not made any other arrangements, and ended up having to make another seater table for us, which wasted even more time. At we were finally seated, and ordered a bottle of wine, which we waited half an hour for, finally when it arrived we ordered another one so we wouldn't have to wait again. The food arrived promptly but due to the bad start we ate the meal and left. This is one of best resturants in Burgess hill, but the staff looked like they didn't know what they were doing. Fortunalty we wern't pressed for time, but if we had been, then it would of messed up our time scehdule."
