"We had four large fish and three chips for the four of us. Needless to say there was plenty of food. The batter on the fish was truly crispy and the fish itself was melt in the mouth. The chips were plentiful and were traditional chips, well cooked. The temperature of the food was well maintained, even though we took fifteen minutes or so to get 'home ' to eat."

"I must say this is one of the best fish chips shop here in GLA. They served it piping hot direct from the kitchen . The haddock were fresh what I liked most is the fish batter ; it is light crispy not oily. Their homemade chips are delicious nice to eat with the vinegar. Food 9/10 Service 8/10 Ambience 8/10 Value for money 7/10 it is quiet a standard price around here ; 7-8 pounds per serving) It is a small shop so bear in mind to avoid busy hours in order to get a seat. Nearby the varsity student accommodations . The shop should give some student discount . Overall will definitely eat there again."

"I guess before you leave you need to check the takeaway box to see if it actually has your food inside...how can they hand you your order that you have stood and waited for and not have checked they actually put the food in the box? It is utterly bizarre and for the initial reaction on the phone afterwards to ask how this happened to be laughter and disinterest before being offered a refund made the whole fiasco even worse. I used to think this was a fantastic chippy but I was obviously wrong! The general service is not very friendly anyway and the food that we did receive in the other boxes that they actually managed to fill was bland and cold (literally was a 5 minute gap between being handed the food and starting to eat it so why was it cold...? . Overall this was a ridiculous experience that completely wasted my time and I will never ever return, and will recommend others to avoid as well."

"Went here yesterday...been excellent before but not been for agesYesterday we got mediocre mains and uncooked chips very pale, some still hard (part frozen? Just barely started to get cooked) so completely different from before and not in a good way. Wont' be going here again tummy's don't like uncooked food!"

"We were visiting Brighton for the day so looked up the reviews and came here..... We have eaten Fish and Chips all over the country.....for years..... The shop is something you just drive past without much thought on a normal day.... However once you visit the place.... The fish and chip is just Magical..... its better then perfect. I cannot stop telling friends and family. Its so good the wife agrees with me for a change...lol. I cannot recommend the place high enough..... this is a no brainer..... come here and discover for yourself. You will not be disappointed. This will now be the only place to get F/C when we are visiting Brighton.... The guy is very welcoming. If I could add another start to this review we would. Wife, Me and the Son loved the food, simply the best F/C.... and you can just tell the oil is so fresh and good quality. I amin food Heaven...."
