"I was extremely disappointed with the customer service, food quality, and hygiene at this restaurant. We were served out-of-date desserts, one of which posed a health risk to a member of our party. The desserts had a fishy smell and tasted terrible, as confirmed by the restaurant owner. When we declined a replacement, the owner was not pleased, even though it was a reasonable decision given the circumstances. He admitted to having fresh desserts in the kitchen, so why were we served old ones in the first place? This made us feel unfairly blamed for the situation. Additionally, the receptionist was very rude and unwelcoming from the moment we walked in. Despite this, our waitress was kind and made us decide to stay for a meal. However, we will not be returning to this restaurant. They need to improve their customer service and food quality. Many other Italian restaurants in Leicester offer excellent experiences, and we had hoped for the same here."
