"I recently made a booking for 9 people at The Fable, and when the group turned up, the staff at the fable claimed the booking was for 5 people and that they did not have any tables available for a larger group. The woman refused to acknowledge the confirmation I had from The Fable clearly showing that it was for 9 people. After we managed to fit 9 chairs at a space made for 6 (with NO help from the staff), we were then ignored for more than 30 minutes without anyone even bothering to take our drink orders. When the food was eventually served, one dish was missing, which then turned up around 30 minutes late. There was barely an apology from the staff for the delayed food. While I have been there before and received excellent service, I can no longer recommend The Fable as a place to go."
