"First impressions of the décor so modern, so relaxing! The menu is very extensive for a fish and chip restaurant. Had a selection of starters – calamari, scampi, whitebait, fishcake – these were all nice and crisp. I went for the sea bass which was grilled beautifully – the skin was crisp and the fish tasted extremely fresh, not to mention the size it was biggest whole sea bass I’ve ever been served. The cod was a good size, and not too greasy. You have to try their curry sauce this had a good kick to it! Thought I was full but I just had to get a dessert, and I went for the elderflower and strawberry cheesecake let’s just say I’m so glad I didn’t share this as it was wonderfully light, not too sweet, and rounded off the meal just perfectly. Oh and I can’t forget about the COCKTAILS! These looked and tasted amazing. Thank you to Jas and the team at Faulkners for looking after us and for the delicious food!"
