"A few months ago, we made a reservation at this restaurant based on recommendations from friends. We visited for Sunday lunch, which consisted of a carvery. For my starter, I ordered a soup which unfortunately had a plastic lid from a store-bought soup added to it. The soup was flavorless and the lid was not ideal for my teeth. Despite this, no apology was given. We were instructed to wait until our table was called for the carvery, and we found the quality of the food to be lacking. The ambiance of the restaurant was very average."
