"Considering there was only a max of 20 allowed to dine in, service was extremely poor. No cutlery on the tables, no direction on how to order as the couple next to us told us we had to go inside the restaurant to order. Staff were not great at providing a nice environment to sitting customers. Would not go back again."

"Beautiful restaurant! The decor was elegant and IG worthy. The staff were superb, very friendly, accommodating, and attentive. Would go back just for the service The bar is off the hook. Fantastic whiskey selection with even top shelf whiskeys from Japan. Great Gins and vodkas, better selection then the majority of bars. The music ???? was also really nice, we actually stayed for drinks after dinner just to listen. The food was also excellent, the chili chicken was our fav , and we loved the mixed veggies grill. ???? My only slight disappointment was the Tandoori Soya Chaap. I think the texture was good, but it needed some sort of sauce, it was a bit dry on it's own. But everything else was good!"

"on visiting this restaurant on Thurs Jan we arrived early (the first customers)but were shown to a table and asked if we wanted drinks , although it was early the restaurant was cold and the dÃcor was quite dull and spartan, the staff were very friendly and helpful and although there was no sharing platter on the menu one was made up for us. Now to get to the important part, this restaurant is all about the food and having travelled extensively both all over Britain and the continent this was possibly the best Indian food we have ever eaten if it was possible I would give the food stars The location is also superb being immediately opposite the Festival theatre ideal for pre theatre dinner. Our party consisted of three adults and the total cost including drinks was only which considering its location in the middle of Edinburgh was excellent. I would be happy to visit again, but if they could sort out the ambience issues and toilet I would happily have given it stars."

"the first time that I ordered from here a month ago, the food quality was good, but they forget to take drinks. they gave them back and let go. the second time I recently ordered from here, they have not only forgotten one of the articles, but the quality has completely declined. the curry wasn't as good as the first time. I will not order again unless I learn that the previous cook has returned and they commit themselves to thoroughly review their orders before they send out. the ground material."

"I purchased The View from the Shard Hilton Green Park experience as a gift for my friend's 60th birthday. We had a reservation for 8.30pm on Saturday 12th August in the Tiger Green Brasserie. We expected this to be a very busy time for the restaurant so were extremely surprised to find an almost empty restaurant with only 3 other couples eating there. The room was silent with no atmosphere whatsoever and I can only describe the room as a breakfast room rather than a restaurant and indeed we had full view of the breakfast serving area and buffet! The food was very bland and at best, passable, certainly not the gourmet dining experience we were expecting. The restaurant manager was rude and we left feeling very disappointed with the whole experience. I really can't find one nice, positive thing to say about it. In complete contrast, our visit to the Shard was fantastic. In hindsight, if we had known how bad the dining experience was going to be, we would have just booked a trip to the Shard and found somewhere ourselves to eat on Saturday night. London is abundant with great restaurants with fantastic food good customer service, so we would have been spoiled for choice. As it is, we were left very unhappy and paid a lot of money for a very poor quality experience."
