"we parked right behind the high road, from there was a short walk through abbey mews to the caffe. the parking space is only cash and no app support to pay. the caffe itself is beautiful a very “serious” feeling when they first enter, they are presented with the cake display, which looks great! wait for them to sit on place (release also available) the personal is warm and friendly, they all smiled when we visited. the menu is great, a set of choices for gluten-free and vegan oriented. it is a spacious and comfortable caffe with some beautiful furniture. I had the turbulent latte with milk of the pasture, which was very good, the tab and the green lasagne. it smelled nice and tasted even better than that! I also chose the Mocha Piee and the apple and same folding jacket, both very tasty. because of this experience I would recommend a visit if they are in the city."

"I am a regular at this cafe in Dundee because it is the best! I visit at least three times a week and it's great that the staff already know my order. They are always friendly and very helpful. The atmosphere is fantastic, perfect for studying but with a lively vibe. I usually order a large skinny chai, which is delicious and the size is impressive. I highly recommend it, it's the best chai I've ever had. And the fact that it's less than £4 with a student discount for a large drink is a great deal! My favorite cakes here are the Speculoos, Rainbow Cake, and the banoffee muffins are to die for. I will definitely be coming back here every week!"

"last night I picked up 2 pizzas for dinner and must say for the price is simply the best pizza in the west. I have never tried the rest of her eating, but every time I had pizza, it was on the place. the beats are delicious, the pizzas are big enough and their mozzarella is something else! her service is always very fast and the staff is very friendly. it is the only place I know in glasgow that makes a real Italian pizza and it is not overpriced. I'll try the food soon."

"We were in the area for the British Grand Prix. Our accommodation did not provide food so I looked around and liked the look and reviews of The Plough Inn at Marsh Gibbon. After a long day all four of us were in need of refreshment. There is a separate dining area which suited us well after our long day. With a good choice of menu and this being our main pit stop we needed refuelling. We were not disappointed having all chosen comfort food. The chef cooks ham and gammon with coke and the result is delicious. We were well served and looked after, the beer was good too. I would have no hesitation in going back nor in recommending this fine hostelry."

"The restaurant has a wheelchair accessible entrance, but the door is heavy. I had to wait for 10 minutes as all the top tables were reserved, but the server quickly explained the delay. There were two friendly front of house servers who were courteous and sanitized the tables between customers. I could see behind the counter from my table and watched a young lady making drinks and returning milk to the refrigerator. My drink and cake arrived promptly. The carrot cake was filled with nuts and had a delicious frosting. The hot chocolate had a balance between milk and dark chocolate, giving it a strong flavor. Despite the cold temperature outside, the inside of the restaurant did not feel too warm."

"Covid blamed for all shortcomings as has become the new norm but poor service standards, cleanliness and prep are a given minimum expectation when you pay for a supposed' high class meal. Booked well in advance and made it clear that one of us was gluten intolerant. Found our booking but had to request a GF menu! Didn't have one so doctored a normal one. Starters were OK for veggies and fish eaters but nothing otherwise. Venison was chewy. Portion of fries missed. Cutlery was cheap, tables sticky, drab atmosphere. Ate here some years ago and really enjoyed it. This experience was therefore very disappointing. Makes me wonder what the rooms are like?"

"This restaurant was extremely loud for the price you pay. It was difficult to have a conversation because the tables were too close together. When paying a premium for a meal, I expect better ambiance. The service was subpar, with the staff appearing stressed or indifferent. I had to flag down the waiter to place my order, as he left before I could order my side dish. However, the food was of good quality, so credit to the chef for that."
