"Excellent food overall had sashimi, nigiri, tempura, aubergine and softshell crab starters (much recommended), gyoza. Good sake. Service very poor for an establishment of this price. The waitress' English was quite poor (I normally never complain about this) , she couldn't answer any specific questions orders were taken piecemeal, and I had specifically mentioned in my booking it was my wife's special birthday. Nothing at all was said or done, which is disappointing. Communication was minimal. Another waiter was friendlier. Perhaps it was her first week working here? Human touch is important and this is why I can only give a good score overall, as this is not a cheap restaurant."
