"Got feeling food was microwaved. I seriously doubt the roast beef was actually carved. More likely bought in bulk. Can’t believe anything we ate needed a chef. Yorkshire pudding cold and stodgy. Should have used Aunt Bessies. Soup was good everything else .. meh. The outside grounds are in need of a major clean up from cigarette ends, garbage on the terrace tables left over from previous diners and a power wash of the paving would make all the difference. The prominent location of this establishment is wasted as management has done nothing to enhance its surroundings. The manager of this hotel is lacking the skills to make this restaurant/hotel inviting. Please don’t blame Covid or can’t get the help. Get out the office and do it yourself. I so wanted to enjoy a lovely Sunday meal looking out to beautiful views. I wasted my money. Too bad. It could have been so much more. I can’t imagine someone booking an event here."

"The restaurant serves breakfast and brunch during the day, and transforms into a Thai food greasy spoon in the evening. A big plus is that they offer a complimentary cookie with your coffee! (I always feel British)"
