"Seriously, don't order from this place unless you want your money, time and consume terrible food. It's just one of the worst fish and chips and kebabs I've ever eaten. The fish and chips were boiled and the amount of oil and fat on it was laid by this world. The Kebab Special was atrocious!. I never had a kebab covered with cheese sauce and had such a high quality and tasteless meat that was on the edge of the finish. the chili sauce tasted strange. More than 75 percent of the entire meal went into the container"

"I arrived at the restaurant at 11:45 and ordered a meal that was served promptly. But that's not the end of the story. When I returned to my car, I realized I had left my phone behind. I called the restaurant after closing hours and they found my iPhone 12 and returned it to me the next day at 2:38 pm without charging me. "Use their standalone app for several years without a big problem (some confused orders, usually sorted, but the food is good so it is worth a bit of faff) But this time the restaurant has refused to get the order, and claims that I ordered from somewhere else, despite the fact that it has listed their phone number that I called via app orders without problem on the same app that I have for years, the same settings, with payment under Pizza omore trade name. The guy in the restaurant finally told me that it's not his problem and that *I* have to call *her* app developers to sort it. Absolute shame. Avoid."

"I used to frequent this restaurant because their delivery service was terrible, but it has improved significantly now. The food is absolutely delicious, especially the 2-piece fish dinner which is incredibly worth it. The staff are fantastic and I have been a loyal customer since I was young. This is the best fish and chip shop in Great Britain."

"We had made a reservation at The Wilderness a while back, but unfortunately our plans were disrupted by COVID. Finally, we were able to visit for lunch on Saturday, and it was definitely worth the wait. We chose the ten-course tasting menu along with a couple of glasses of their 'hacked' wines. As soon as we sat down, we were greeted with a complimentary glass of Prosecco and water, and our meal began. The variety of dishes was outstanding; from crispy pig cheek with apricot gel, to steak tartare, turbot, and mackerel. Standout dishes included a delicious beetroot ice-cream with a rich ajoblanco, and a fantastic mushroom and 'bread pudding' that was like a gourmet version of mushrooms on toast. The service was excellent, each course was tasty, and the wines, especially the Chardonnay 2.0 and the Vermouth, were top-notch. While the meal was on the pricier side, the quality of the food, service, ambiance, and music made it all worthwhile."
