"So before 2 nights we had 2 kebabs, full of taste, freshly cooked nan, all about them was perfect. So tonight we thought we had a curry, lamb bhuna and a Tikka mix corma, a few pompadome and chutneys. the choke pepper was so fresh. I forgot to order the palau rice they sent me really fast. this place convinced me that there is a perfect place for Indian food. probably the best I had from an Indian outgoing. all cooked fresh, hot and full of aromas. this is now my gothic place for all Indians. it is under new management and if you can keep eating so well, it will come a special place for many more."

If you think this place is good, you must have incredibly low standards. The menu is confusing and does not match the items you receive. They do not pay attention to specific instructions or requests. "My daughter came to this restaurant yesterday to have a pizza. She is 11 years old. She ordered a cheese pizza that was advertised as £5. However, the man serving her asked for £6.50 instead. When she pointed out that the menu clearly stated £5, he insisted that it was actually £6.50. He then started to become impatient with her when she continued to argue that it was £5. It was not a good experience trying to rip off an 11 year old."

"Went for a meal this evening as we live nearby and have always wanted to try. Service was quite awful. As soon as we entered the restaurant the waitress or manager shouted at us from her desk asking if we were looking for a table.. I asked if we should come to her instead of shouting from the door but she continued to converse with us shouting from a distance. Very strange. Another waitress took us over to our table but initially sat us at a table that hadn’t been cleaned or set yet, we hesitated and ANOTHER waitress came over and told us to sit at the next table that was already set. Why we weren’t sat here first I have no idea. The restaurant was hardly busy. We ordered drinks and food, drinks took a while to arrive and we had to ask for water twice. Water arrived and there was a small spider in my glass…. yuck. I noticed it while drinking and got the attention of a waiter who simply replied “Ok, do you want new water?” ….. I mean? Really?! Food was good and came quickly. Nothing amazing but nothing terrible either. Waitress that cleared our plates asked if she could “have our plates” expecting us to hand them all to her. The staff also dropped cutlery on someone in our party twice. Staff could really do with some training, or maybe being paid better so that they might out in a little more effort! Will definitely opt for takeaway next time as the food was good enough."

"Hi we ordered a takeaway legally as per covid ! We live only an 8 minute drive away, we were told 20 minutes for collection and we arrived in good time to no que and left for home at around 20 minutes later ! We ordered chicken pakora which was cold ! A portion of chicken tikka masala and it was grainy almost as though the yogurt wasn’t fresh as the sauce looked sandy and was slightly gritty in texture, we also ordered a chicken Korma and the sauce was the same but also spicy (which Korma isn’t supposed to be). With both mains we ordered fried pilau rice which was also cold but even worse when you opened the containers the rice came out in rectangular lumps and it didn’t want to separate and clumped together. The rice was definitely reheated from probably the day before as we ordered our meal at 5.30pm ish. I ordered from this shop on the TripAdvisor ratings and having ordered a starter and 2 main courses if 1 thing was going to be disappointing then fair enough but for the whole meal to be **** then I suggest the owners have had a big hand in the ratings for their establishment. I also at the point of ordering our meal made a point of telling the guy on the phone that this was the 1st time I had ordered from them as their ratings looked great. I will definitely not be spending my hard earned cash in this establishment again disappointed is an understatement !"

"really bad experience. not sure what restaurant went on to these other reviewers because the staff was really not helpful. has been referred to what seemed to be the chef of the restaurant immediately, which means that the personal 't formed on allergens, but the manager clearly 't understand what vegan meant also. He told me to get a dish and he'd tell me if they could make it vegan. I explained we could be here all day to go through the menu, but he insisted. I went, of course, directly to the sweet dishes to which he said no (to all! because they have flour in them. I tried to explain that flour has nothing to do with veganism, but he did not understand. I would leave the restaurant if we were not there for my vater birthday, as we began to make a scene when I tried to explain that they have vegan options available, but can't say which options these are. I went with a bombay aloo that is usually vegan. I feel like they have deliberately put a boiled egg in themselves, as I have never seen that it is part of the teller. So I didn't eat the meal and didn't say anything, paid and left. I do not understand that all restaurants have vegan options available, but I thought after the reviews here and the fact that they have advertised vegan options on their menu that they would be helpful, but it is probably the worst experience I had."

"I went to the restaurant and ordered a meal deal along with some additional items. Unfortunately, they were out of stock of the items I wanted. This should have been a red flag for me as the problems continued throughout the meal. The starter was overcooked and dry, the chips were overcooked, and the naan bread was burnt. Both the Peshawari and garlic naan were tasteless and had a powdery, salty texture. My dining companions and I were very disappointed and found the whole experience disgusting. I would not recommend Flame Tandoori to anyone. It was a long time since I had such a bad dining experience."

"This was our first visit to this restaurant which is about 5 minutes walk from Chatham Station. There is a varied menu and plenty of vegetarian, fish and meat options. We had difficulty in making our choices, but the waitress made recommendations. The food was delicious and the portions were generous and it was excellent value. "Food was ok and general experience was good but completely undermined but what can only be described as stealing. We went as a group of 9 and no one had food costing more £15, yet when we went to pay we somehow ended up paying upwards of £25 each once we split the bill evenly. There were some random charges added on the the end of the bill on top of the service charge that were deliberately scrawled so we couldn’t read it, but amounted to probably 30 or 40 quid. When we asked for a proper receipt with all the costs itemised, they just scrawled it out again. I find this to be absolutely disgraceful behaviour and I won’t be recommending this place to anyone. They think they can steal from you and you won’t notice don’t risk it."

"Ordered two fish and chips by phone. One for me, one for my brother...OH MY GOD! ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS. I very rarely finish the chips, they're usually cold and taste awful but these ones were fantastic and I can't believe I ate them all. Will definitely be going back here.
