"Service and ambiance good but cooking poor and overpriced. Flavours were lacking apart from too much salt. Beetroot in starter lacking sweetness with too salty goats cheese. Partridge stringy and liver tainted. Venison nicely cooked but flavourless. Pear baba excellent but Chantilly cream far too sweet. Treacle tart had rock hard casing. Coffee not listed on menu and priced at £7 each: even with oversweet petit fours an extortionate price. A great disappointment over all."

"I love this place. It's an absolute jewel. Had the soup and soufflé to begin and that was excellent with the most amazing bread rolls The truffle Taglioni and Lake Bass for main together was so beautiful paired with a white wine was just perfect. I would recommend a visit here and will certainly return. Thank you."
