"I enjoyed my meal. It was tasty and well prepared. Like the food in many restaurants my pasta dish was a touch too salty. Consumers have been advised to reduce our salt intake for health reasons by governments and all medical experts and most people have followed the advice at home, but we find restaurants still add a little too much. Because we’re now used to less salty food in normal circumstances it’s very noticeable when there’s a bit too much. That said my main course of cod with beetroot and samphire was splendid."

"We had a wonderful time enjoying champagne afternoon tea at the Melody Restaurant in St Pauls Hotel. We highly recommend it to our friends and family. It was a perfect treat on a rainy February day in London. The service and atmosphere were excellent, and the selection of sweet and savory food was fantastic. There was a great variety of teas and coffee, as well as a glass of champagne, which we greatly appreciated. We used an experience voucher to pre-pay, and found it to be good value for the money. We would definitely go back again."

"Very rude staff, service was horrendous. Meal came missing half of the sides, was told upon ordering that everything was available and then only when the food arrived “sorry those sides aren’t actually available”. Still charged full price. Very old man unwell across the street so my friend asked for some water to give to him. Staff sneered and were extremely rude and derogatory about the old unwell gentlemen which was frankly embarrassing to be in the presence of. Waitress then rudely said they’d have to amend the bill to add on the water bottle for the man! Waitress then clearly stupid as couldn’t half the bill amount correctly. Shambles and I’m embarrassed to have been there and will be posting on every social media and review website going that this place is disgusting in every sense of the word. As a local resident and active community member I’m going to make sure everyone knows of my experience. Staff should be ashamed of themselves."

"The vegan options at Sen are truly fantastic. Often, vegan offerings at restaurants are just meaty dishes without the meat, but that is not the case here. The cruelty-free menu items were absolutely excellent. The menu is incredibly well thought out, featuring complex flavors, authentic dishes, and great variety. The pho was exquisite, with flavors that were out of this world. The curry was warming, creamy, and rich, yet somehow still light and refreshing. As if that weren't enough, the staff were attentive without being intrusive, and the atmosphere was charming, clean, and modern—yet welcoming and relaxing. The culinary experience at Sen is truly special; don't miss this restaurant when you're in the area. I would also recommend making a reservation in advance, as the exceptional quality makes it a very popular spot. Updated from a previous review on September 20, 2022."

"The location and decor were wonderful however I felt the food was slightly over priced for what you actually got. The ambience in the restaurant was sterile with the usual piped music over a sound system where you could hear the kitchen staff more than the music...however when booking originally for 19:30 told it was fully booked so had to book for 18:30 where the restaurant was empty apart from 2 x couples with a very young child in the corner. We left at 20:00 ish restaurant still empty with no other diners there? Don’t understand why 19:30 was fully booked? ...shame. Food was ok along with good service however my starter of squid felt a little over prepared and presented where once getting passed the meagre squid was really a bowl of standard salad with crispy noodles, partners starter of prawns the same. Wine was ok however again nothing of note and over priced for what it was, same bottle available for £5 from supermarket and with a screw cap. I don’t mind screw caps but I do mind paying 4 x the price to open in my self!? Main courses good steak cooked well and parfait of duck a little over cooked but fine. Deserts fine too. great location and great staff...all be it a little naieve and under trained. not so great ambience and food acceptable. Price and portions quite disappointing."
