"We dine here about twice a month. There is a monthly change in the set menu so decided to try it with guest from the US. The starters of mackerel with blow touched skin was very good- one of the two mackerel was a little fishy but it was just cooked under the skin. The corn voloute was good too. The beef rump was chewy and not very nice. We suspect the wrong cut has been used for the dish and was close to being unedible. The fish main was average. Decided to skip deserts. Service was good. Found the Waitering staff young and nervous. Had the amarone La Guila- was excellent. 50% wines between £100-£499 on a Wednesday. Will be back but was on of the more lacklustre meals we have had in Northall."
