"After we had spent a day in southend on the sea and then in the lake meadow country park, we were randomly looking for a place to eat and came over the duke of york pub. I must say that my wife and I were not disappointed. at the arrival were both tania and kristy very friendly and showed us on our table. in the evening we did not have to get up from our table, as both tania and kristy picked up our order on the table for drinks and eat and bought them over, even if the place was busy and there were only two of them. Tuesday is 2 for 1 burgernacht and eating was very good and about the right size. the burgers were moist and well seasoned. even the locals who were in the pub were very friendly and had a few laughing with them. overall we had a very nice evening and would like to thank kristy and tania for it. will certainly come back, although its one hour drive from where I live."
