"Amazing food by a beautiful family owned restaurant with the best staff! Every year I visit from Australia and every year it gets better! The Haggis nachos, rack of ribs, chilli cheese hotdog and turkish delight sundae are some of our faves! Furthermore; be sure to get the Stilton cream to dunk your chips in to! "Rooms: Lovely room. Very comfortable bed. Generous tea and coffee. Everything you could need for an overnight stay. Food drinks: The meal was very good and the sticky toffee pudding was the best I’ve ever had even beats Cartmel sticky toffee pudding and it is made in house! Breakfast was very good too. Noteworthy details: Such a friendly place. We were made to feel very welcome. Will definitely return if we visit Cragside again (which we must because there’s far more than can be seen in a single day).
